Dr. Corey Caruthers
Corey Caruthers, DO is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Caruthers uses a minimally invasive surgical approach and the most advanced technology when doing surgeries so that his patients have an excellent outcome and a faster recovery. He is one of few surgeons in central PA trained in robotic-assisted knee replacement and he uses the anterior approach to total hip replacement when appropriate. Dr. Caruthers also treats many general orthopaedic conditions including fractures and sports injuries.

Phenomenal surgeon! His knowledge and surgical skills make him one of the best orthopedic surgeons not just in York, but nationally. He took care of both of my hips when they were attacked by a rare disorder. He was able to remove all the old tissue and perform the anterior approach hip replacements. This anterior approach is a newer one that allows for a quicker recovery. He not only has the gifted surgical hands, but takes the time to explain what is going on with your health and answer all your questions. We are so lucky to have this talented surgeon in York PA.
