Dr. Corey Caruthers
Corey Caruthers, DO is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Caruthers uses a minimally invasive surgical approach and the most advanced technology when doing surgeries so that his patients have an excellent outcome and a faster recovery. He is one of few surgeons in central PA trained in robotic-assisted knee replacement and he uses the anterior approach to total hip replacement when appropriate. Dr. Caruthers also treats many general orthopaedic conditions including fractures and sports injuries.

I've seen Dr. Caruthers for knee pain 3 years ago. He gave me injections in both knees but that didn't give much relief. He scheduled me for left knee replacement. He did the surgery, it went well! I have had no problems with the left knee at all. I will have him do my right knee in the next year as it is giving me problems now. Dr. Caruthers is very professional, he is kind and has great bedside manner. He is very attentive and follows up on any calls or problems that may arise. If he doesn't call you directly he has his staff get back to you. He is very straight forward when discussing your care and condition. And he involves you in the decisions and discussion regarding your care and treatment. I am very pleased with his care and highly recommend him!
