What Patients Are Saying
Dr. King and his staff are great. They really put my mind at ease about my surgeries. Sunce my first surgery on my right arm Ive had my left hand and 2 trigger fingers fixed. I refered my Mom and sister to Dr. King. He suggested Mom see Dr. Curathers for her hip because that is his specialty. My sister had her knee replaced by Dr. Kung and we are in the process of preparing for her 2nd knee. We tell everyone we know who needs ortho to see Dr kKng and the professionals at OSS.

Dr. King and the OSS staff at this and the Mechanicsburg location are amazing at what they do.When Dr. King was one of the doctors recommended by my physical therapist office I was prepared for the worst yet knew at that juncture the pain of my injured shoulder had been persistent and relentless & I wanted some relief. My first appointment with Dr. King and his Physician Assistant (Noelle) went well. They both communicate effectively and make a great team. They suspected a torn rotator and the MRI they ordered came back with a diagnostic of three tears with a suspicion of a fourth (no contrast MRI was done). The treatment plan included continuing with physical therapy and I was scheduled for some injections. The injections helped ease the pain for a few days and then the Director of Physical Therapy was very clear that there was most likely a fourth tear that needed surgery in order to be repaired. At my next visit with Dr King I asked him what my shoulder was going to be like in 20 years if we chose to continue with the avoidance of surgery. He pulled up the imaging and said he thought he could help me. He proceeded to explain the surgical procedure and the risks involved. I agreed to the surgery and one of his staff came in to set things up for it.I am super grateful to have a friend who had just been through the same surgery a month before that offered a place for me to stay after surgery because she knew I wouldn’t be able to drive or do things for several weeks after surgery. The road to recovery is long & hard yet worth it.
