Cubital Tunnel Syndrome

Cubital Tunnel Syndrome is the condition that happens when the ulnar nerve—commonly known as the "funny bone" nerve—gets compressed or irritated as it passes through the cubital tunnel, a narrow passageway on the inside part of the elbow.

What are some symptoms of Cubital Tunnel Syndrome

  • Numbness and tingling in the ring and little fingers (especially when the elbow is bent)
  • Pain on the inside of the elbow
  • Weak grip strength
  • Hand muscles, especially near the pinky, may waste away (atrophy) in severe cases
  • Symptoms often worsen at night or after prolonged elbow flexion
