Dr. Kier Blevins
Dr. Blevins is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in surgery of the hand, wrist, shoulder, and elbow. A proud Pennsylvania native, he is honored to return home to care for the people of Central Pennsylvania—where his journey in medicine began at Franklin & Marshall College.
He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Duke University, where he served as Chief Resident and was named a Feagin Leadership Scholar for his dedication to principled leadership in medicine. While at Duke, he also served as a team physician for Duke Men’s Lacrosse during the 2023 and 2024 seasons, gaining valuable experience managing elite athletic injuries and guiding athletes back to peak performance.
Dr. Blevins completed fellowship training in hand, shoulder, and full upper extremity surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, where he trained at Grady Memorial Hospital—the busiest Level I trauma center in the United States—and developed advanced skills in treating complex and traumatic upper limb injuries. He also trained internationally at Hôpital Ambroise Paré in Paris, France, where he refined cutting-edge shoulder reconstruction techniques under world-renowned upper extremity surgeons.
He has expertise in advanced wrist arthroscopy, shoulder instability, and complex shoulder reconstruction. His approach blends surgical precision, innovation, and a patient-centered focus to help patients of all activity levels restore function and return to the lives they love.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Blevins enjoys time with his wife and two sons, strength training, writing music, and exploring longevity and wellness. He finds joy at the beach and takes pride in giving back to the Central Pennsylvania community that first inspired his path in medicine.

My mother suffers from Alzheimer's and he is wonderful with her. Gentle and understanding with her. Even though she cannot really understand what is going on, keeps her in the conversation by looking at her when he is speaking with me (daughter) and my dad. Waiting room wait was never long. Staff at the Mechanicsburg practice were very helpful, kind and understanding.
